Storm Day

Today was a bit of an awkward one, I went to the location specified and was unable to find the class so I wandered a bit. Not wanting to suffer the same fate a certain stalker faced on our own campus and feeling strange being on another campus alone, I chose to return to CCAD campus and drew a few faces and a few passerby's.  The day only got more interesting as the high winds forced everyone inside because of the shear amount of dust it kicked up.  Despite this, I do like some of the sketches I captured.

  1. Bert,
There are some nice beginnings here -especially the lower drawings.
If you're working with portraits, try to be more descriptive.
I would like to see you work slightly larger, in the future.
The bottom page has some nice value indications - try to describe the environment in line with as much attention. It's good that your area of focus is the character - you can still describe the architecture with more solid lines.
Avoid 'floor squiggles-' if you describe floor plains, try to use the same quality marks you use in the figure. They can be lighter - just put the effort into making it consistent.
Keep drawing. I like the improvements.
