I drew the motions for alot of different activities but removed a lot of them as they took longer than ten minutes to complete the set. I ended up relying on videos to do these project
Bert, Relying on videos for exercises like this is fine. Try to still maintain a gestural approach. You're still concerned with shading in the bill of the cap and the glove, the socks, and so on. Concentrate on a line of rhythm, weight shift and a lighter line. The top one is the best because the gesture is the most dynamic but most of these are too ungrounded. Remember - you're not drawing EXACTLY what you're looking at. You're attempting to capture an essence that displays weight shift, force and gesture.
