Library

I ended up focusing on  a few people, but most of the images turned out becoming something I was not exactly proud of. However I ended up with at least one fairly decent sketch.  It seemed that re-using a pencil takes a little more used to as it's a lot more flexible than the pen.

Motions.

I drew the motions for alot of different activities but removed a lot of them as they took longer than ten minutes to complete the set.  I ended up relying on videos to do these project

Freeday II

It was really wet out and rainy so I stayed indoors as I drew people blocking off the cold and wet with umbrellas and those who stayed indoors with me.  Drawing for this class with pencils feels a bit different as it's something I am accustomed to, but not resisting the need to erase is a little hard.  However the sense of pressure verses darkness is easier to understand now.

Storm Day

Today was a bit of an awkward one, I went to the location specified and was unable to find the class so I wandered a bit. Not wanting to suffer the same fate a certain stalker faced on our own campus and feeling strange being on another campus alone, I chose to return to CCAD campus and drew a few faces and a few passerby's.  The day only got more interesting as the high winds forced everyone inside because of the shear amount of dust it kicked up.  Despite this, I do like some of the sketches I captured.

MoJo

I ended up doing a lot of "action" shots of people walking around and doing random stuff rather than drawing the same pose over and over again.  I decided to try taking "snapshots" of people and sketching out their faces within a single minute and got a few amusing looking faces. I'm gaining more confidence when it comes to just blotting out sketches now.

Freeday

I sketched people outside of the dorm from my 4th floor dorm room. This allowed me to draw everyone at ground level with very little chance of the subject knowing that I was drawing them.

NorthMarket

I guess if we were moving on a "per lesson" basis, today's lesson would be 'foreshortening' (which I've never gotten the hang of).  However it was a good exercise and now I identified another aspect that I'm particularly weak in. Likely I'll continue to practice these drawings even outside of class. As they say practice makes "gooder-er" - since perfect is out of the question.

NorthMarket2

Not sure how these ended up here.  I think it might have been an browser error and it parsed "north market"
