(repost) Union Centre
Quite a few times I ended up redrafting some of the figures that did not move. Other times I just took glances and drew what I could remember. I'm trying to use looser movements then darkening up lines later, however I suppose simply getting the gesture would be far more appropriate.
Relating to posts: I seem to be having some amount of problems posting.. I leave the computer to allow it time to post and I end up coming back to it having an odd message about "Edits" even when i use the "new post" tab. Trying to figure out why posts are working sometimes and why they're failing at other times.

Bert,
ReplyDeleteI can't really address the issue with posting. Try it from another computer. make sure the images you're scanning aren't too large. They shouldn't be any larger than a couple Megabytes.
Realistically, they should be jpegs under 1 MByte.
As for your drawings, the top figure is your strongest but it is floating. Furniture ?
Avoid drawing straight overhead poses (seated figure w/chair)- they are difficult to distinguish and not very dynamic.
Yes - the line is loose - this is good. Start here, then once you establish a pose AND a composition, make confident, committed decisions to define your subject.
Some of these are a bit hard to read just because the tables are simple circles, so they're harder to distinguish. Drawing overhead is complicated! :)
