Today I ended up staying behind because I had managed to lock myself outside of my room. I wandered around campus and nearby locations and settled on drawing cafe goers in the Crane. Later I went around looking for people doing homework and participating in various activities.

ReplyDeleteThe 3rd one down (person seated drinking at the table) could be the best drawing you've made in this class. It has great line variety and value range in the shading - and the gesture is convincing (aside from being feetless). The other drawings have decent forms to them - but they all lack the energy and character of the 3rd one. You need to draw more faces and hands. Your seem to shy away from doing that.
